When asked about the delayed autopsy examinations Lieutenant Fred Corral of the LA County Coroner’s Division revealed the case has not been completed.
“I’m not sure if the bodies have been identified or if the examinations were complicated. We’ve been extremely busy here,” Lt. Corral says.
“The only time we would put someone’s autopsy on security hold is at the request of the police department or at our own request.
“That simply means that the case has not been completed.”
A spokesperson for the LA County coroner’s office says the autopsy results are likely to be announced today [December 4].

The fatal crash happened on a street known as a hot spot for street racers, according to California highway patrol.
The street forms an approximately one-mile loop surrounded by industrial office parks.

TMZ reports tonight that chat show host Jay Leno once spun out in a similar Porsche to the one Paul Walker died in.
He reportedly lost control of his Porsche Carrera GT while driving it at 182mph back in 2005 while trying to set a speed record at Talladega Motor Speedway.
After losing control of the car, Leno spun across the track five times before coming to a halt on some grass, although he managed to avoid hitting anything.
Pro driver David Donohue said Leno had got too close to a wall causing the car to lift, which showed how sensitive the Carrera GT can be at high speeds.
7:34 pm
Roger Rodas - the man who was driving the Porsche when it crashed on Saturday killing both him and Paul Walker - had cheated death in another racing crash earlier this year.
The 38-year-old slammed his Ford Mustang Boss 302S into a wall during an early morning practice session for the Pirelli World Challenge in Long Beach, California, in April this year.
The smash, which left the car unrepairable, is believed to have been caused by a brake malfunction in turn 1 on the 1.97 mile street circuit.
Rodas walked away from the accident uninjured but sadly wasn't as lucky at the weekend.
7:23 pm
Pictures have emerged this evening of Paul Walker carrying out best man duties at his brother's wedding, just a month before his tragic death.
The pictures show Paul with his arm around younger brother Caleb, at his wedding to Stephanie Branch.

“He had been so happy, he said.
“He was there at the event and had managed to raise thousands and so many people had brought toys.
“So many people had come out to support the charity and he was with his friends. It was a great day for him. He was so overwhelmed to have so much support."
Paul Walker was raising money for the Reach Out Worldwide charity he founded to help people coping with natural disasters around the world and had been focusing his recent efforts on the devastation caused by hurricane Haiyan in the Philippines.

He said if you "make a mistake - it bites your head off".

The LA Coroner's Office hope to carry out an autopsy on the bodies of Paul Walker and Roger Rodas today, it has been confirmed.
Officials have struggled to have the bodies formally identified because they were left so badly burnt in the accident.
But it is hoped they will be ID'd through dental records so the autopsy can go ahead today.
This should reveal more information such as the cause of death.
4:21 pm
Paul Walker was 40-years-old when he died.
He appeared in dozens of Hollywood films, with bit part roles in movies such as She's All That and Pleasantville in the late 90s.

3:30 pm
In an interview with GQ magazine in August, Paul Walker explained how his 15-year-old daughter Meadow encouraged him to keep acting.
He said: "It's so funny, my daughter now lives with me full time and my original plan was to work up until I was 40 then reassess my life, even go in a completely different direction with things.
"She keeps encouraging me to do all this stuff. I thought at this point in my life I would need to be home with her, but she wants me to keep acting so she can travel around the world with me. Would that be so bad?"
He also discussed his religion and having been brought up a Mormon.
He added: "Thing is, I went to a born-again Christian high school, was brought up in a traditional Mormon family where these ideas about parenting are of structure and sacrifice. To think outside of that idea of family and parenting that I've grown up with is tough, but also very freeing."

US motoring magazine AutoWeekhas revealed a little more about the Porsche Carrera GT which Roger Rodas and Paul Walker were driving when they crashed and died.
As discussed previously, it is a very powerful machine, built by Porsche between 2004 and 2007.
The model Rodas and Walker owned was number 479, from 2005.
It was sold new for $450,000 and was regarded as a racecar barely disguised for the road.
It had been variously owned by different people in Florida, Texas and Indiana before it ended up in California in the garage of Auto Evolving - the business Rodas and Walker owned together.
The handling was notoriously difficult and one top driver described it as "scary" to Autoweek.

We should not forget that Roger Rodas also died in the horrific crash with Paul Walker on Saturday.
He was well-known in the motoring community and owned an automotive business in Santa Clarita, California.
David Guenther, who owns a similar business in the area, said: "He was a total down-to-earth guy, a guy you just wanted to hang out with.
"For three days I’ve been hardly able to function. I just considered him a truly fabulous person.
"It feels like I’ve lost a family member."

Earlier today, CCTV footage was published of the moment Paul Walker's car crashed and burst into a mass of flames, killing the Fast & Furious actor and friend Roger Rodas.
The video, obtained by TMZ, was captured by CCTV cameras on the roof of an industrial park close to the crash site.
On the right hand side of the screen, you can see Roger Rodas' red Porsche Carrera GT as it crashed into one of the trees lining the road.
Seconds later, the vehicle explodes, sending plumes of thick black smoke into the air.
Approaching cars are forced to stop as the dramatic scene unfolds, before emergency services are seen arriving.
2:15 pm
The possibility that Paul Waker and Roger Rodas were involved in some kind of street race when they crashed now appears to have been discounted.
Speculation is now mounting about what kind of condition the Porsche Carrera GT was in at the time, and the speed it was travelling.
Jim Thorp, fellow car enthusiast and friend of the pair, believes the car may have blown a tyre shortly before the smash.
He said he heard a loud "blast" before the car went through a lamppost and into a tree.
The speed limit for the road was 45mph, but it is not yet known what sort of speed the Porsche was travelling when the accident happened.
1:46 pm
Jordana Brewster, who played Paul Walker's love interest Mia Torreto in the Fast and the Furious, was among those to release an emotional tribute to her co-star.
"Paul was an enormous presence in my life for the past fourteen years. While many would be satisfied with material success it made Paul more convinced of the need to help others. He never spoke of his immense generosity or philanthropic endeavors unless I prodded, however. This is what made Paul, Paul," she said.
"He lived with integrity, humanity and humility and seemed most happy when talking about his daughter, Meadow," she continued.
"I don't know anyone who lived each moment more fully and loved life more than Paul; making his loss all the more heartbreaking."
1:36 pm

The actor admitted he had broken the law on camera as he took a Nissan GT-R for a test spin in Japan.
Police officers investigating the crash that killed Walker and his former racing driver friend, Roger Rodas, have already confirmed that "speed was at least a contributing factor".
Walker, who described himself as an adrenaline junkie on his Twitter account, said in the YouTube video: ""The fastest I've ever gone is 184 to 186."
He than adds that he has driven slower on a racetrack telling his driver he has clocked "160 to 170mph".

As more details of the Paul Walker crash emerge, one witness said the impact was so devastating parts of the Porsche flew 100ft into a nearby building and smashed a window.
Melvin Termain, a property manager told Radaronline how the crash hit the building where he works.
"Debris flew down the hill into our parking lot," he said.

1:05 pm
The Porsche Carrera GT Paul Walker died in was such a difficult car to drive, dealers were sent a warning by the manufacturer, it has been reported.
TMZ has got hold of a document which it claims was sent out to by a Porsche executive to dealers ahead of the Carrera's release in 2004 describing it as "as close to a racecar as we will ever get".
The note says that anyone driving it needs to be "aware of what type of road surface" they are on.
"This vehicle cannot drive over a Foster Beer can that is lying on its side.
"It will crush the can and damage the carbon fibre under panels."
12:55 pm

The stretch of road in Santa Clarita, California, where Walker and his friend Roger Rodas smashed into a lamppost is known as a hotspot for street racers.

You can take a much closer look at a Porsche Carrera GT 2005, the car Paul Walker and Roger Rodas were driving, in this video here.
It has a v10 5.7litre engine capable of delivering more than 600hp.
Porsche claim it will do 060mp in less than four seconds and a top speed of 205mph.
Only about 1,300 have been produced and is notoriously difficult to handle, car experts say.

11:24 am
The Hollywood Reporter is also carrying claims that there was definitely 'something wrong' with the Porsche Carrera GT which crashed killing Paul Walker and Roger Rodas.
The website says a source who was at their Auto Evolving garage on Saturday has told them the car was stalling, and the pair took it for a drive to try and establish what was wrong.
"As they were backing up the Carrera to put into the garage, it started stalling. I heard someone say, and I think it was Roger, ‘Why is the car stalling? Let’s take it around the block,' " the source said.
"Paul said, 'Let me go with you really quickly.' "
Minutes later, friends came racing back to the garage with the news that there had been a crash.
They rushed to scene armed with fire extinguishers and fire trucks were already there.
A few brave individuals tried to pull Walker and Rodas from the flames but the blaze was too intense and officials pulled them back.
"Roger wasn’t the kind of guy to go max speed on a small street, same thing with Paul," the source told The Hollywood Reporter.
"These guys have respect for the car and they wouldn’t do it like that."
11:08 am
Paul Walker's co-stars Michelle Rodriguez and Luke Evans have been reacting to his death.
Rodriguez, 35, was filming the latest Fast and the Furious installment with him before the tragedy.
"I'm gonna carry this torch for you brother" she posted on Twitter.
"With a forced smile on my face and I'm gonna open my heart just cause your telling me to."
Watch Luke Evans speaking below as he was promoting his latest film The Hobbit.

11:02 am
The New York Daily News is also rubbishing the possibility that Paul Walker and Roger Rodas were involved in a street race when they crashed and died.
A source close to the friends has told the paper the theory is "total c***".
"If someone pulled up and wanted to race, Roger wouldn't even entertain it. It would be ridiculous. It would be like an airplane versus a car," the source said.
"I know Roger and Paul, and they have nothing to prove."
10:51 am
As the star of the Fast and the Furious films, Paul Walker had become something of a cult hero among motoring enthusiasts, especially in Southern California.
Thousands of fans have been paying tribute to him online, and an impromptu memorial meet as now been organised for Paul and his friend Roger Rodas on Sunday December 8.

Paul Walker's long-term girlfriend Jasmine Pilchard-Gosnell, 23, is being comforted by her mother Julie as she tries to come to terms with the 40-year-old's shocking death.
According to the MailOnline, Jasmine’s uncle Barton Bruner said: "Paul was a really good guy and Jasmine is broken up by this. I went to Thanksgiving with him, played golf with him.
"They had their ups and downs but they were together and looking to spend a bright future together. This is horrible news and unexpected. Her mother is with her and she is comforting her."
10:19 am
TMZ has been speculating that the Porsche Carrera Paul Walker and Roger Rodas died in may have suffered a mechanical failure.
A source at Auto Evolving - the garage co-owned by the two who died - said there was "a noticeable absence of skid marks just before the point of impact".
This points to the possibility of a steering fluid leak, the website claims.
The fact that the fire seemed to start at the front of the car, rather than the back, suggests leaking fluid father than driver error, it has been suggested.
Rodas, 38, has been described as a skilled driver and had competed in several races.
9:45 am
RZA has posted a song called "Destiny Bends" in tribute to Paul Walker.
The rapper and musician, who co-starred with the actor in 'Brick Mansions' due out in 2014, said he wrote it after hearing the tragic news his friend had died.
Posting the song on SoundCloud he wrote: "I met Paul on the set of the film Brick Mansion, where we talked, laughed, and exchanged ideas of life and fatherhood.
"I only knew him personally for less than a year, but we knew each other through our work and art.
"As all physical things will decay and wither away, film, art, and music remain longer than the vessel that delivered them.
"In this vein, the one thing we can't take away or give back is time. So, thus, time is the most precious gift.
"Your comrade in the struggle,
RZA"
9:28 am
A film which Paul Walker had finished filming - "Hours" - will still be released as planned on December 13.
The low-budget movie is about a father (played by Walker) trapped in a hospital with his prematurely-born baby after a huge storm.
Producer Peter Safran said film bosses had consider pulling the release, but ultimately decided the right decision was to go ahead with the it.
"It’s something that we certainly debated over the weekend, and ultimately came to the conclusion that Paul was so immensely proud of the project and he wanted people to see the movie," he said.
"We felt this was the most respectful way to move forward."
You can watch the trailer below.

9:13 am
The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department has confirmed to NBC4 that the speed limit where the Porsche crashed was 45mph - and not 15mph as has been reported in some places.
Investigators believe speed was "a factor" in the smash but have yet to determine how fast the car was travelling when it hit the lamppost.
In a statement issue last night the Sheriff's Department said they had "received eyewitness statements that the car involved was travelling alone at a high rate of speed."
"No eyewitness has contacted the (department) to say there was a second vehicle."

A little earlier, Paul Walker's half-sister visited the memorial spot.
She looked visibly upset.
The family of Paul Walker have said they are supporting each other and are taking comfort in their Christian faith.
"We would just ask that people give the family privacy right now to mourn and in his honour, in his name, go out and do something nice for somebody," Walker’s half-sister, Amy Kaz, said.

Speculation continues as to the cause of the deadly crash.
Footage we posted on the this blog earlier, obtained by TMZ, appears to discount the theory that Paul Walker and Roger Rodas were involved in a drag race.
No other cars can be seen before or after their Porsche smashes into a lampost.
Police say they are focusing on the speed of the car as the main factor behind the smash.
The LA Times have spoken to locals who say the area is popular with "speed aficionados" who leave the road streaked with tyre tracks in the morning after late-night races.
"It's a great road for racing your car up and down because its sweeping curve," Alan Lyon, a business owner in the area, told the newspaper.
"If you come up here at 10 or 11 at night, you'll hear the performance cars racing in the area."
8:40 am
Fast 7, the latest installment of the successful franchise Paul Walker was filming before he died, will be postponed, but not abandoned entirely, it has been reported.
The future of the film, being made by Universal Pictures, has been thrown into uncertainty by the tragic death of its main star.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, bosses held a meeting on Sunday and decided to postpone filming, but not to scarp the project entirely.
Walker's fellow stars including Vin Diesel and Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson are devastated at their friend's death and questions were being asked whether Fast 7 would be abandoned.
The film is scheduled for release in the US on July 11 2014.
Aside from the release date, producers face the difficult problem of how to promote the film and whether to use the footage of Walker.
8:20 am

This is Vin Diesel's moving thank you speech to fans from a patrol car radio - it is believed police cleared the area soon after the impromptu message from the co-star.
8:15 am
Paul's younger sister Ashlie Walker broke her silence today vehemently denying her brother was drag racing, branding rumours a hurtful lie.
Speaking to MailOnline, the 35-year-old said: "It hurts us when we hear these lies and it makes our grief worse and more painful. These are irresponsible allegations and people are trying to make out speed and racing was the reason for his death when it was just a terrible accident."
A private family memorial to Paul Walker was held yesterday evening at the crash scene.
8:12 am

After the family's private memorial ended co-star Vin Diesel addressed fans at the memorial site. The actor went on a police patrol car loudspeaker and told grieving fans: "Thank you for coming down here and showing that angel up in heaven how much you appreciated him."
Pictures emerged of the actor, who played Dominic Toretto in the Fast & Furious franchise, holding back tears as he made his moving address.
7:56 am

Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, who starred alongside Paul in the action film franchise's 2011 movie 'Fast Five', has also paid tribute to the late actor – who leaves behind 15-year-old daughter Meadow - and told of how the pair used to bond by talking about their children.
Speaking to 'Entertainment Weekly', the 41-year-old star – who has a 12-year-old daughter Simone - said: "When I first met Paul, I think in our late 20s, we were young kids in the business. Then years later, when I did 'Fast Five', we had an opportunity to spend a lot of time together and become reacquainted.
"At that time, we had both been in the business at that time for over a decade, and the most important thing that we had in common was the importance of family time and being a great father to our daughters. We bonded over that.
"It was always the number one topic we would talk about. We would talk about silly guy things, his fast cars and my pickup trucks, or we would talk about the beautiful energy of Hawaii — but it always ultimately came back to family. And very specifically the beautiful and important bond between a father and his daughter, and how we both realised that over the years."
7:47 am
A car racing expert who was at the Valenica car show has claimed Walker and pal Rodas took the sportscar out because it was stalling.
The Hollywood Reporter said the eye witness, who wants to stay anonymous out of respect to both families, maintains the pair were determined to get to the bottom of the Porshe's mechanical problems - not go on a joyride.
"As they were backing up the Carrera to put into the garage, it started stalling. I heard someone say, and I think it was Roger (Rodas, who reportedly was behind the wheel), ‘Why is the car stalling? A friend of Fast and the Furious star Paul Walker insisted his driver was NOT involved in a street race when the sportscar crashed, killing them both.
Police are investigating tip-offs that the actor, 40, and driver Roger Rodas were in a contest with another car before their Porsche hit a lamppost, smashed into a tree and burst into flames.
It is believed that the area where the crash occurred is a popular street racing location and police say that speed was "at least a contributing factor" in the smash.
But Jim Torp, friend of both the crash victims, pointed out the red Porsche Carrera GT had already been sold, so they wouldn’t have been reckless with it.
He added: “I’m a good friend of theirs and I’m fighting for them because there’s been a lot of speculation about them drag racing, and that did not happen.”
Additionally CCTV from the scene, obtained by celebrity website TMZ, appears to show no other cars on the road at the point of impact.

The RZA has recorded a tribute song for Walker called Destiny Bends.
On his Sound Cloud profile, he wrote:
"This song, entitled "Destiny Bends" was written last night after hearing the tragic news of the loss of a good man named Paul Walker.
"I met Paul on the set of the film Brick Mansion, where we talked, laughed, and exchanged ideas of life and fatherhood. I only knew him personally for less than a year, but we knew each other through our work and art.
"We saw in each other a kindred spirit of men coming from unlikely circumstances, and rising to be the light and beacon of our family and loved ones.
"Men who learned the joy and pains of love in life, and success, while coming to realize that nothing is more important than family, friendship, and the brotherhood of humanity.
"Millions of people get to know an artist or movie star through their work, but few are allowed to cross each others' paths and see through the veil of stardom and find the common denominator that we share.
"As all physical things will decay and wither away, film, art, and music remain longer than the vessel that delivered them.
"In this vein, the one thing we can't take away or give back is time. So, thus, time is the most precious gift. I dedicated my time to compose this song with my two sons and new friend Will Wells, who was kind enough to sing and perform it for me.
"We dedicate it to Paul Walker. A good man. We had plans to continue working with each other in the future. It seemed destined, but "destiny bends"."

"Really, really funny. And not in that, ‘I’m a hot famous guy making jokes so you’re all going to have to laugh’ kind of way, but in a natural, self-deprecating and intelligent way, which let’s be honest is the best. I’d decided I was in love."
